2024 Flagship Ride to the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN)

This year, Cancervive’s Flagship Ride embraced the theme “Rooted in Resilience” as we journeyed to the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN) in the North West Province. We explored a region rich in heritage and culture, perfectly aligning with Cancervive’s mission to connect, educate, and inspire communities across South Africa. The bumpy, dusty roads we travelled symbolised the challenges faced by every Cancerviver, reminding us that we are all grounded in resilience as we strive to uplift those around us.

We are deeply grateful to our Platinum sponsors, SPAR and Suzuki, whose support continues to make a meaningful difference, one community at a time, as we work to raise cancer awareness nationwide. A sincere thank you also goes to Goldi Chicken for their invaluable assistance at our community events, as well as to all of our other sponsors who play a vital role in the success of our work.

It’s worth noting that SPAR, Suzuki, and Goldi Chicken each brought their teams along on the Flagship Ride. Their hands-on participation, alongside Cancervive, allowed us to directly engage with communities and spread crucial cancer education.

A special thanks to the RBN and Impala Rustenburg for their collaboration, which enabled us to reach mining communities and ensure our educational efforts were effective and impactful.

In addition to our outreach efforts, Cancervive proudly launched THUTO, its groundbreaking Cancer Chatbot during our visit to the RBN. This initiative, in partnership with our sponsors, actively involved the community in breaking the stigmas and myths surrounding cancer. Together, we spread an important message: Early Detection CAN Save Lives!
