On Freedom Day, the Cancervive Biker Community (CBC) hosted a cancer awareness ride in the Western Cape which coincided with the ride in Gauteng. The event aimed to honour the day by spreading the message that Early Detection CAN Save Lives, while supporting Cancervive’s ongoing efforts to make South Africa more cancer-conscious.
In the Western Cape, over 220 people participated, with 170 bikes gathering for the ride. Riders, some travelling over 300 km, ended their journey at The Shuntin’ Shed in Bot River. The turnout exceeded expectations, and the community’s support was overwhelming.
We also launched the 2025 Cancervive / Suzuki SA raffle at both events, an exciting initiative to raise funds for cancer awareness and education.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support is helping us make a lasting difference.
