Cancervive was honoured to be invited as a guest at the 2024 Solidariteit Blanket Run hosted at Lavender Kontrei Market on 25 May. Our stall, manned by dedicated Cancervive volunteers, was a hive of activity as bikers purchased Cancervive merchandise, exchanged stories, and sought advice. Cancervive’s CEO, Marlene Nortje, had the opportunity to share Cancervive’s mission and vision on High 5 Stereo, recounting her personal cancer journey and the organisation’s efforts to raise cancer awareness across South Africa. She emphasised the message that ‘Early Detection CAN Save Lives!”
